Do We Need A State Board of Education? Amend the Constitution?
Maybe the issue is also that we should have a debate on whether we still need a Michigan Department of Education? Should we have an elected State Board of Education? Is there constitutional independence helping or hurting Michigan education in the 21st Century. Been awhile since we debated this issue, but since the State Board of Education raised the constitution as an issue, why not talk about this aspect of the constitution also? http://on.freep.com/1bdLkqQ
